Based in Byron Bay, along Australia’s East Coast, She Made Me, a handmade Crochet Swimwear and Resortwear brand designed by Chloe Dunlop, is the place where she calls home.  A seven-year industry veteran in the swimwear community, Chloe made a natural progression from design and sales to launching her own collection. With her free-spirited energy and sense of adventure she began this journey with the intention to create timeless, beautiful pieces that instil confidence in each woman who wears it and celebrates handcrafted, artisan traditions.

A nomad at heart, who appreciates the concept of minimal luxury, Chloe seeks inspiration for every collection through her experiences traveling the globe. From Morocco to India and back to the brand’s initial roots in Bali, Chloe’s journeys are about connecting with exotic, remote and foreign cultures. She finds treasures in native colours, landscapes, textiles and textures, all contributing to the uniqueness within her line.

Drawn to authenticity through craftsmanship and the value of human touch, every She Made Me piece is skilfully hand crocheted in limited quantities by local artisans in Bali, who work from their homes in villages throughout the island. The handmade crochet represents love, persistence and instils a beautiful, human connection within each piece.

A romantic nostalgia with a hint of tradition, She Made Me offers a nod to the free feeling soul of the 70’s, while celebrating and supporting the heritage and art of crochet, and the artists who help in producing these delicate works. A true departure from the mass manufactured norms so typically found in the swimwear industry today.
